Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Shahrooz Yazdani
CEO/Director, All Locations
After earning his DDS degree with Honours from the University of Toronto in 1998, Dr. Yazdani completed a 2-year general practice residency in North Carolina. Residencies like this are optional; in fact, less than 1% of general dentists choose to pursue this sort of residency. Dr. Yazdani’s commitment to his trade didn’t stop there. He then completed over 1,000 hours of comprehensive continuing education offered by the Kois Center, as well as a 330-hour implant and bone grafting course through Ti-Max in Toronto.
In 2001, he opened Yazdani Dental and brought his many years of experience to clients in both Kanata and Kemptville. Dr. Yazdani believes strongly in helping others, and enjoys his work immensely. When he’s not working hard to help you with your dental and oral health needs, he enjoys sitting by the pool or beach with a good book and the company of his family.

Dr. Yi Ming Shen
Kanata Location
Dr. Shen graduated from the Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from McGill University in 2017. He completed a General Practice Residency at Stony Brook in Long Island, New York in 2018.
Some interesting facts about Dr. Shen: His family is in Montreal and he cannot live without his cell phone. On his bucket list, he plans to travel to the Arctic and explore Antarctica. He also hopes to road trip through America.

Dr. Kendal Creber
Kanata Location
Dr. Kendal Creber earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Sydney School of Dentistry.
She previously completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario, where she focused her research on dental materials at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. She has won multiple research awards.
Dr. Creber has a holistic and evidence-based approach to dentistry and enjoys continuing education to provide her patients with the latest dental treatments and techniques.
Dr. Creber is also certified to provide nitrous oxide sedation to her patients. With a special focus on gentle care and providing a pleasant dental experience, Dr. Creber looks forward to providing you with exceptional dental care.
In her free time, Dr. Creber enjoys hiking, baking, gardening and spending time with her aussiedoodle Arlo. Being able to visit Antarctica is also on Dr. Creber's bucket list.

Dr. Bassam Hameed
Kanata Location
Dr. Sam completed his BDS from Al Rafidain University College in Baghdad, Iraq. It is considered one of the oldest private academic colleges in Iraq.
After coming to Canada Dr. Sam became a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons.
In his spare time Dr. Sam like to take artistic photos and create short films.
If time and money were not a factor, Dr. Sam would open and run his own dental practice in Venice, Italy.

Dr. Sacha Singh – IV Sedation Dentist | Kemptville & Kanata Locations
According to his friends, Dr. Singh expressed an interest in dentistry early in high school. While he disputes this, he did pursue a career in dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. Following a one-year general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, he completed a Masters Degree and specialty training in Periodontology, also at UofT.
His dental career took him to Whitehorse, Yukon and then Chapel Hill, North Carolina before he settled in Ottawa in 2002. In 2013, Dr. Singh refreshed his training in single-drug IV moderate sedation and has been providing this service in the Ottawa area since then.
When not helping patients relax, Dr. Singh unwinds by hiking, biking, running and skiing, and also enjoys reading and photography. Travel is also an activity he pursues when possible.

The easiest and quickest way to get to our Kanata location is via Highway 417. If heading westbound, you can exit either onto Campeau Drive or Terry Fox Drive. Either option will take you to our location at 650 Kanata Avenue (unit K4). Of course, you can also take OC Transpo. Several routes stop nearby, including numbers 62, 161, 164, 168, 264, and more.
